Palomino Sauce is god's gift to you

This is the most amazing pasta sauce I have ever made. It is not paleo but it is vegetarian. Bask in its creamy salty tangy deliciousness.

Ingredients:


  1. 3 cloves of garlic
  2. one shallot
  3. 2 tablespoons flour
  4. 1.5 cups marinara or tomato sauce
  5. 1 cup milk
  6. 1 cup heavy cream
  7. basil
  8. salt
  9. 2 tbsp butter

I showed garlic powder here but I ended up mincing some garlic which I'll show you how to do. 


Take the cloves out of the head


Chop the ends off


Peel them


and boil some pasta. I did a whole box for this recipe. 


Lay your knife on the garlic clove....


and MASH it as hard as you can with your fist. pound it. slam it. okay anyways. 



Now you can mince it. 


Melt some butter in a sauce pan. 


Add your minced shallot and garlic


and let it sweat for about 8 minutes. 




add some basil. 


mix a cup of heavy cream and a cup of milk, set aside. 


add two tablespoons of flour to the onion/garlic/butter mix



This is a roux, which thickens sauces. Let it cook for about 2 mns. 


Pour in the milk/cream mixture and stir til it boils. Then turn the heat down...


and add a cup and a half of your tomato sauce. 


Let it cook for about 10 mns. 


and serve over pasta with fresh grated romano or mozzarela or parm. delicious!
