This is my best friend's mom's recipe, and we make big batches of it in the summer to gorge on at 2am after the bar. You know what I'm talking about. Theres lots of mayo (sorry) but its worth it.
Ingredients:
1. one box of pasta. if you wanna be a hero and use whole grain pasta, go ahead. I worked out today, so regular white pasta it is.
2. about a cup of grapes
3. 1/2 pound havarti cheese (havarti. it must be havarti).
4. 1/2 pound turkey from the deli
5. 1.5 cups of mayo
6. 1/8 cup balsamic vinegar
7. 1/4 cup sugar
Put your pasta in the pot, cover it with water and add more til the water is an inch above the pasta.
Add a tablespoon of salt, and boil it to al dente.
Take your mayo...
and balsamic vinegar. This is 1/4 cup but I poured some out because this stuff freaks me out. You could definitely do a fourth cup though instead of an eighth.
When your pasta is done, RINSE IT in cold water. This will prevent it from sticking together.
Mix the balsamic vinegar into the mayo.
Add the sugar.
Put your grapes on a tupperware lid....
put another lid over them...
and slice between the lids....
for perfectly halved grapes.
Cut the cheese into strips and dice it.
Mix it into the pasta.
Get your turkey...
and cut er up.
Mix that in too.
Add the grapes.
oh yes.
refrigerate and serve!
