Now I don't know about buffalo wild wings, but pretty much everywhere you go to order buffalo wings, buffalo chicken tenders, buffalo chicken salad, whatever, is making buffalo sauce the same way. The exact. same. way.
Make it yourself and then you can perfect it EXACTLY how you want it and serve it on everything, literally everything.
Put it in potato soup (which is coming up next).
Put it on your eggs.
Put it on grilled chicken breast.
Mix it in to alfredo sauce. (sweet jesus why haven't I tried this yet? can you imagine the buffalo cheese heaven?)
Put it on grilled cheese.
Put it in tomato soup.
Put it in your mac n cheese.
....you get it.
Ingredients:
1. franks hot sauce. DO NOT buy the "buffalo wing" style franks hot sauce. It tastes like garbage. Buy the good old fashioned franks hot sauce.
2. butter
3. lime juice
4. salt
you can easily half this recipe if you don't need as much. a little goes a long way!
Pour 2 cups of franks into a bowl.
Add 3 tbsp of softened butter.
Microwave it til the butter melts and you can stir it together.
Put in a tsp of salt.
Add juice from half a lime. This cuts the heat factor down a bit and gives a good acidic background to the flavor.
DONE!
